It is the Speed, Timing and Reliability that Determines the Quality of a Port.
Batiliman, which was incorporated into Batı Anadolu Group as of 2006, continues to provide its services in the Nemrut Bay located in the Aliağa district of Izmir, 59 km away from the Izmir city centre.
Until 2011, predominantly the cement and clinker cargoes of Batıçim, that is one of the group companies, were handled in Batıliman; however with the investments made in the equipment and the back field in order to get a bigger share of the business volume available in the region, it has become an ever-growing, developing and preferred port.
With an annual handling capacity of 14 million tonnes, Batıliman Port Operations adds value to the region 7 days a week and 24 hours a day with its expert staff, modern port equipment, and its warehousing and logistics facilities offered in different options for the handling of bulk cargo, general cargo, project cargo, hazardous cargo and non-hazardous liquid cargo. Moreover, auxiliary services such as harboring, waste reception and water supply are also provided in Batıliman.
BATILIMAN has both a very convenient location in terms of berthing and unberthing of ships and an important strategic position with the highway and railway line that extend to the port area. It has a hinterland that primarily includes Aliağa and İzmir region and extends to the surrounding provinces such as Manisa, Balıkesir, Aydın, Denizli, Afyon, Konya, and to many more regions.
